Fresh off a European anniversary tour, Washington, D.C. alternative rock/grunge/post-hardcore veterans Sorry About Your Daughter return home for the final night of the run — their only U.S. appearance and a rare chance to see a band whose songs still carry the urgency, volume, and emotional charge of the ’90s underground.
Formed in the early-’90s D.C. rock scene, Sorry About Your Daughter built its sound in the charged space between heaviness and release: guitars pushed into the red, hooks with bruises on them, and rhythms that give the songs their sense of velocity and impact.
