8 weeks away! It is with great joy and excitement that we share with you Passionflower Ministries’ first event, Sorrow to Song: A Night of Healing and Hope with Divine Mercy. Our mission is to bring relief and restoration to the suffering and conversion to abusers through the power of Divine Mercy. We believe God is urging us Christians to listen to and walk alongside abuse victims and those who suffer. This evening will be an opportunity to be immersed in the healing flood waters of Love and Mercy. Jesus told St. Faustina, “Let every soul have access to this fountain; let them approach with great trust” (Diary, 848). Let’s answer his beckoning call to receive his mercy and healing!
We will begin the evening with a Healing Mass. The Mass will take place at 6:30 pm EST where the opportunity to receive the Church’s healing sacraments will be available as well as the opportunity to be prayed over individually. Then, we will gather at St. Aloysius Hall from 7:30-9:30 pm EST to turn our sorrows to song. The Frye Family Band will perform and, together, we will praise God through their music ministry. Confessions will be available.
Sorrow to Song will take place the Friday before Divine Mercy Sunday and the day before St. Gemma’s feast day (our patron saint). In our Easter joy, we will proclaim the Lord’s desire to resurrect all our hearts from the spiritual deaths and pains we have experienced in this life. With great confidence, those who seek confession prior to and on Divine Mercy Sunday can be assured of the promise of healing and restoration that Jesus made to St. Faustina.
All are welcome! Come out and bask in his mercy with us. Jesus, we trust in You!
“Let them sing songs of praise. Is anyone among you sick? Let them call the elders of the church to pray over them and anoint them with oil in the name of the Lord. The prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well.” (James 5:13-15)
