She is accompanied by pianist Myroslav Mykhailenko and also accompanies herself on the bandura.
Over the past five years, Teryn Kuzma has been featured in performances with Hartford Opera Theater, Ohio Light Opera, Toronto Summer Music Festival, Berkshire Opera Festival, and the Ukrainian Art Song Project. In 2024 she starred in the world premiere of Layale Chaker's new opera "Ruinous Gods" at Spoleto Festival USA. She is Assistant Conductor of the Women's Bandura Ensemble of North America and Artistic Director of the New York School of Bandura.
Myroslav Mykhailenko is a Ukrainian American pianist active as a soloist, chamber musician and collaborator. He won the 2022 Chicago International Music Competition in the Concert Artist Category, and is pursuing a Master of Music in Piano Performance at the Peabody Institute of the Johns Hopkins University.
