SONY Community Event: Seen & Unseen
About this Event
What does inclusion mean to us as makers? An afternoon of inspiration, honest conversation, and connection for visual storytellers.
At this second edition of Sony's community event on diversity and inclusion, we celebrate the power of visual storytelling and the relationships behind the images we create. Throughout the afternoon, photographers, filmmakers, producers, and creatives will share personal stories, creative journeys, and the experiences that have shaped their perspective and practice.
Together, we'll explore both the seen and the unseen of our industry. How do our identities influence the stories we tell? Where do blind spots exist in our work? How do we balance personal values with client expectations? And whose voices are being represented, amplified, or overlooked?
Through workshops, open conversations, and perspectives from across the creative industry, we'll discuss themes including identity, culture, representation, access, belonging, and the responsibility that comes with shaping visual narratives.
Whether you're a photographer, filmmaker, producer, creative professional, or simply curious about these conversations, you'll leave with fresh perspectives, meaningful connections, and new ideas for your own creative practice.
