HAZOP Leadership and Management

From October 5 to 7, 2026, KIVI, together with IChemE, is running a three-day training in Amsterdam on leading HAZOP studies.
Taught in English, the course is aimed at people who already know HAZOP but now want to take the step toward actually chairing these sessions think process safety engineers, production and project engineers, and instrumentation and control specialists.
Participants don't just learn the methodology, but the craft of facilitation itself: how to define the scope and the right nodes, how to put together a team, how to keep a session on track when things get difficult, and how to produce a clear report that actually leads to follow-up action. For those working toward Chartered Member status, the training also aligns with UK-SPEC competencies A, B, and E.
The course is delivered by IChemE, the well-established UK-based professional body for chemical and process engineers, founded back in 1922. Registration is available through the IChemE website.
