Celebrate jazz with our final show of 2024, the eclectic sounds of Sons of Brasil! In 1991 Stan Kessler, trumpet and flugelhorn, put together a group of then-young KC jazz musicians to play nothing but Brasilian jazz with a flavor and passion that one might think could only be found at a nightclub in Ipanema or Leblon. Thus, The Sons of Brasil sprung to life from the members love and admiration of “musica bem brasileira.”
