About this Event
Huey Lewis was born in New York City and raised in Marin County, California, where he grew up immersed in the vibrant West Coast music scene. His passion for music ignited at an early age, eventually leading to a career that has left an indelible mark on rock and roll. From his early days playing harmonica across Europe to fronting the chart-topping band Huey Lewis and The News, Lewis’s journey is a story of talent, determination, and timeless hits like “The Power of Love”, “Hip to Be Square”, and “If This Is It”.
Beyond music, Lewis has showcased his versatility as an entertainer, starring on Broadway in Chicago, appearing in the film Duets, and guest-starring on television. His contributions to music and entertainment have earned him worldwide acclaim and a devoted following.
Lewis will be interviewed by Sonoma Speaker Series Board Member Ken Wayne.
