Dive into songwriting and improvisation with local musician and educator Joni Clare and special artist Brett Winters. The goals are to find a balance of thinking and play. Brett will be sharing well experienced concepts of songwriting and Joni will hold the space to guide players in exploring their instrument and finding new sounds. Both sections of the workshop will feed one another for each individual to find both a foundation and freedom.
Through defining our voices, strengthening listening skills and sending us away with more direction, it will be a much worthy workshop!
Open for ages 16 and up and beginner to advanced levels.
All instrumentation welcomed.
Please bring water bottle and any lyrics or written material you’d like to explore.
