A year ago, we tried a Double Duos show with The Couldn't Be Happiers and The Brown Mountain Lightnin' Bugs. It was so fun, we decided to make it an annual thing. So this time we're bringing in two duos consisting of S&S alumni.
As The Raven & The Remedy, Leah Kaufman and Janet Buehler mix equal parts silly and sublime with a twist of kickass harmony. Their original songs have garnered awards from the South Florida Folk Festival, Mid-Atlantic Songwriting Contest, and Intermountain Acoustic Music Awards, to name a few. But it's Janet’s riveting voice and Leah’s intricate guitar that make them an up-and-coming duo to watch. Sit back and let them catch your ear, tug at your heart, and make you laugh, often in the same song.

Barry Gray and Isabel Valls are a singer songwriter duo whose voices blend in harmony and whose acoustic guitar styles perfectly complement each other. Originally drawn together by their shared love of acoustic music from the 60s and 70s, they write and perform original songs together. Their first album, Carnival Ride, will be out this spring.
