Original regional singer songwriters in a collaborative songwriters-in-the-round format inside The Alice - the beautiful events space in Destin, right on the bay. For this month's FREE show, singer-songwriter and host Brian Franklin is joined by Emily Bass and Kylie Miller! Jeremy MacLennan will also join on percussion!
About Emily Bass:
Emily Bass is a 23 year old singer songwriter from Houston, Texas who has written over 250 songs and performs more than 200 shows each year. In 2025 she released her debut album Pink Cadillac. In that same year Emily performed at the Lady World Festival in Seascape alongside headliner Kaitlyn Bristowe, and won the inaugural Destin Songwriter festival competition. She has opened for artists like Cole Swindell, Randy Houser and Jake Owen and appeared on Seasons 17 and 18 of The Voice continuing to build a growing audience across the panhandle.

About Kylie Miller:
Blending coastal charm with grit shaped by life’s highs and lows, Kylie Miller writes songs about struggle, growth, and resilience. Inspired by artists like Kenny Chesney, Ella Langley, and Megan Moroney, her soul-soaked voice and raw clarity offer listeners both comfort and courage. About Brian Franklin
A recent transplant to Destin, Brian has a long history in music as both a singer-songwriter and lead guitarist/backup vocalist. In the mid-90s he was signed to Mercury/Polygram, was been featured in Billboard Magazine, and his 2010's rock opera, Hearing Damage (The Rat Opera), a collaboration with Miami post-punk legend Rob Elba, was described by the Miami Herald as “Tommy meets the Pixies” and “a masterpiece” by the Broward New Times. As a guitarist and backup vocalist, he's performed with Americana artist Harry Hochma n, Nashville songwriter Diane Ward , Alex Woodard, Matthew Sabatella , and more. Most recently he's recorded a set of singles with Los Angeles producer and multi-instrumentalist, Fernando Perdomo.
