Bernie Nelson has been a well-respected fixture on the streets of Music Row in Nashville, Tennessee, for over 30 years.
As a hit songwriter, Bernie's songs have sold in excess of 25 million copies. With multi-platinum cuts on such artists as Randy Travis ("Walk Our Own Road"), Trace Adkins ("I Can Only Love You Like a Man"), Kenny Chesney ("It's Never Easy to Say Goodbye"), and the legendary Conway Twitty ("House on Old Lonesome Road"). He has had successful radio hits on country greats like John Anderson ("When Your Yellow Brick Road Turns Blue"), Neal McCoy ("Hillbilly Blue"), Pam Tillis ("Betty's Got a Bass Boat"), and Confederate Railroad ("Daddy Never Was the Cadillac Kind").
His country standard song "Daddy Never Was the Cadillac Kind" was a chart-topping hit for Confederate Railroad and is still one of the most played songs on country radio with over 3 million airplays, having stood the test of time.
