🎸Chris Jones (of Wolfjett) 🎸
When he’s not fronting Santa Cruz band Wolf Jett and wowing audiences at festivals throughout California and the West, Jones stays true to his folk, soul and country blues roots. Born in the foothills of the Smoky Mountains, his voice is smooth as Tennessee whiskey, while his guitar pickin’ cuts from Chet Atkins to Keith Richards in no time. As versatile a musician as you will find, Jones is able to seamlessly intertwine classic and obscure covers with seemingly timeless originals. He instinctively wins over audiences, whether busking the streets of Spain, rocking clubs in major cities, or playing hushed cafes and house concerts in the tiniest of towns… his repertoire is bottomless! He has recently opened for a wide range of artists, including Allen Stone, Fruition, Cedric Burnside, Uncle Lucius, The White Buffalo, Wayne “The Train” Hancock, Arcadian Wild, Brett Dennen, Coco Montoya, Waylon Payne and worked with KC Turner Presents and Ineffable Music.
🎸Brianna McGeehan 🎸
Born in Oregon to an Irish American musician father, Brianna started playing and singing when she was five years old. She has studied music in places as far flung as Tanzania and India, as well as in traditional western contexts, and was classically trained on piano and voice as a child. In her twenties, she picked up the guitar and started writing songs. After a decade of recording and touring under the moniker Pretend Sweethearts with her musical partner and husband, Drew da Man, she is embarking on her solo adventure. This new sound is a departure from the Americana of her musical past, drawing on grunge, electronica and of course Celtic folk, woven beautifully together with her soaring and impassioned vocals.
🎸Mike Rufo 🎸
Mike Rufo's mission as a performer is to bring resonance and feelings of renewal to audiences, while co-creating a deep sense of connection and community. His sets have a dynamic arc that move audiences from songs of lyrical resonance to full-on, howl-along, dance party. With four albums of original music, Mike blends folk, bluegrass, Celtic, Americana, roots rock, and some funk, with soulful lyrics and dynamic guitar work to provide an uplifting journey of the heart, mind, and body. Mike’s songs have been featured on dozens of radio programs and he has played with leading artists, including 2016 NPR Tiny Desk Winner Gaelynn Lea, at venues throughout the US and abroad. Mike also performs throughout the SF Bay Area with his band, No Exit.
🎸Drew de Man🎸
Drew de Man is a gifted songwriter and guitarist with a history of making music that cuts across time and place. From the gutsy rock of his southern roots to the soul stirring songs of the mystical hobo folk project Pretend Sweethearts/Heart Hunters, Drew’s songs’ resonate with an honesty and beauty that is ever more precious in times of precarity and illusory authenticity.
