Emmy Ryan
Emmy Ryan's music carries the weight of solitude and the warmth of solidarity. With her soul-stirring vocals, intricate guitar and mandolin playing, and lyrics that land straight in the heart, Emmy's songs feel like desert winds - gentle one moment, powerful the next. A semi-finalist in the 2024 International Songwriting Competition, Emmy’s songwriting has drawn comparisons to Paul Kelly & Sarah Blasko, but her sound is uniquely her own. Emmy has performed at Dorrigo Folk & Bluegrass Festival, Tamworth Country Music Festival, Desert Song Festival, St Albans Folk Festival, the Australian Celtic Festival, and the Top Half Folk Festival, and has shared the stage with artists including Jordie Lane, Maggie Rigby (the Maes), Broken Creek, Lucy Wise, Gleny Rae, and Michael Waugh.
Gailla
Gailla creates golden folk-pop songs that delve into stories of climate optimism, despair, heartbreak, community and interdependence with our natural world and ourselves. She has toured across the country and played at activist events such as campaign launches and at the Blockade of the World's Largest Coalport in Newcastle/Muloobinba. In 2023, she embarked on her Public Transport Tour, committing to only travelling via public transport. In 2024, she released her debut EP ‘Over The Earth, Under’ and celebrated with performances at Bundanoon Folk Festival and Cygnet Folk Festival. Her songs have been played on FBi, 4ZZZ, Alive 90.5, 3CR, 2SER, 2RRR and more.
Moongaze
Moongaze is a multi-instrumentalist folk duo based in Mparntwe/Alice Springs. Weaving heartfelt and thought-provoking lyrics with strings, hand percussion, piano, and soaring vocal harmonies, their songs are inspired by queer and trans joy, social justice, the beauty of our planet and the importance of fighting for its future.
