On December 4, Crown & Press presents Songs In The Round, an intimate songwriter showcase featuring:

Frank Fiction
Alt-folk project from Hamilton songwriter Elias Dummer. Juno Award winner and 2× nominee with more than 100 million streams and multiple Billboard-charting releases across his career. After a decade in Nashville, he is building a songwriter-first musical community at Crown & Press and sharing new work rooted in storytelling, grit, and heart.

Alex Whorms
Pianist and songwriter blending indie pop, folk, and cinematic piano. Her latest single is Top 5 at McMaster’s CFMU radio. Her music has appeared in film and television, and she has performed with symphony orchestras and on festival stages across the country.

Matty Simpson
Hamilton songwriter and fixture in the local scene, known for soulful storytelling and standout guitar work. Polaris-recognized and a collaborator across the region’s folk and roots community.

Inspired by Nashville’s Bluebird Café, Songs In The Round puts three songwriters in the center of the room to trade songs and stories in a true listening-room setting.
