Songs in the Park!
Why not head to Rowntree Park on Tuesday 2nd June from 4.30pm to around 6.30pm for a relaxed evening of live music.
We’re delighted to be joined by The Elizabethan Madrigal Singers from Aberystwyth University, the university’s longest-running student society and chamber choir. Founded in 1950, the choir performs a wide range of a cappella music, from Renaissance pieces and folk songs to contemporary arrangements and modern favourites.
Expect a varied programme with something for everyone, all performed in the relaxed surroundings of Rowntree Park.
Bring a blanket, a camping chair, a picnic, or simply wander through and enjoy the sounds as you soak up a summer evening in the park. Free to attend and everyone is welcome.
Find them in the railed gardens in the centre of the park.
