About this Event
The premiere of our immersive opera co -created with young leaders from twenty international countries to drive climate justice around heat and rising temperature.
In 2025 we held an online Summer School to develop climate literacy and then the young people chose to write poems about how they and their communities were affected by heat and these poems shaped collectives songs that became an immersive opera. Each young leader went out with a 360film camera man to record their storyboards and then recorded their words as either spoken word or song. The footage was edited in the UK and the final art work premieres at Real Ideas, Plymouth on 30th April.
If you are interested in the intersection between culture and climate, art and policy, do come and find out about the young people's plans for the project!
