About this Event

Song of the Sun ("Avaze Aftab") is a live Persian music concert that brings together classical and contemporary Iranian music. The performance features vocals, santour, kamancheh, and percussion instruments including tombak, daf, daireh, kouzeh, and frame drum.

Inspired by poetry from Hafez, Rumi, Nima Yooshij, Hooshang Ebtehaj, and others, the program blends music and poetry into a powerful shared emotional experience.

This concert is a journey through sound, memory, and connection, welcoming both Iranian and international audiences to experience Persian music as a living art form.
