This month Song & Poetry Open Mic will have a double feature - Dallis Aurora Ingvalson with FOREAL and poet Annika Phoenix.
ArtCity is an all-ages venue, but open mic performances may include adult themes and language.

160 E Broadway, ArtCity Studios, in the basement of J Michaels Books in downtown Eugene (enter the building and walk past the bookstore to the end of the hall down the stairs).
~~Time:
6:30PM-7PM open mic signs ups
7PM-7:30PM featured poet and musician
7:30PM open mic

Poet: “Soul of a poet, mind of a feral seagull.” Annika Tiana Amber Phoenix (AKA Nyx the Poet or simply Phoenix) is a writer living in both Eugene and Portland Oregon. They have published 15 books of poetry and prose; most recently “Placeholder.” published in May of this year. They have also been published in several newspapers including the Eugene Weekly, the Oregonian and the Nevada Appeal. Phoenix writes from a place of observation and tackles topics such as mental health, LGBTQA + issues, philosophy and existential themes. When not writing, Phoenix enjoys hiking, photography, bird watching, urban exploration and light trespassing.
