Grammy nominee Ariacne Trujillo Duran is considered one of the virtuoso pianists,arranger and vocalist from the New York area .She was born in Havana, Cuba, where she had an extensive career since age 4,as a classical concert pianist and composer,performing at age 14, with the tops Cuba’s symphonic orchestras.Since she arrived in New York City in 2002,Trujillo has been leading numerous significant projects as well as working as a lead singer, arranger, pianist and director for the position for the off-Broadway production “Carmen to Havana and Back.”

Trujillo graduated with a Suma Cum Laude degree in Music from New Jersey City University, and has a Master’s Degree in Jazz Performance in the specialty of Voice and Piano,her teaching experience includes clinics at Berklee College of Music, New York University and Duke University, Virginia.Mannes School of Music,Lehman College,Berklee Valencia,as well as Universities and conservatories in Peru,Colombia,Greece,Spain,Brazil and Costa Rica.

Trujillo has performed, shared a stage, and recorded with legends such as Paul Simon, Paquito D. Rivera, Wynton Marsalis, Steve Gadd, Jonny Pacheco, John Scofield, Javier Limón, Steve Turre, Brian Lynch, Lew Soloff, Taj Mahal, Diego El Cigala, Alain Perez, Jimmy Bush, Justo Betancourt , Isaac Delgado, Gloria Trevi and Esperanza Spalding.


Dr. Jelena Cingara

Dr. Jelena Cingara is an active performer and artist in the United States, Canada, and European countries such as Italy, France, and Czech Republic. Her career includes a series of solo, chamber, and collaborative international and national recitals, and over 25 years of piano teaching. She has performed in concert venues such as: Libby Gardner, Dumke, Abravanel hall, and Kenley amphitheatre in Utah, as well as Arts and Letters Club, Walter Hall, and Ettore Mazzoleni Halls in Toronto, and Carnegie Hall and Town Hall in NYC. As a collaborative and chamber musician, she played recitals in Italy, Serbia, US and Canada, and for masterclasses for famous quartets such as: The Bennewitz, Faure, Doric as well as Philip Seltzer from the Emerson Quartet. Jelena is a prizewinner of numerous piano competitions, and throughout her career, she was also a recipient of numerous scholarships and a teaching assistantship. She completed her DMA in Piano Performance, with a minor in organ performance at The University of Utah School of Music in 2016. Her Off-Broadway/Broadway debuts are with: "The Last boy" in the summer of 2021/ April 2022 respectively. Jelena has also played in: "The Kiss of the Spider woman" with Scarborough players theatre, "Carrie" with Utah Rep Theatre, "Charlie Brown" with Toledo Theatre in the past. Jelena has accompanied singers in Broadway style at Barnard College (1 class of 10 students), and prepared them for recitals, AADA (4 classes of 15 student a week), U of Toledo, and in person for many years (since she was in her 20's). She has a good knowledge of Broadway repertoire that she has been accompanying and performing. Since coming to the NYC/NJ area 3 years ago Jelena has performed in 14 chamber music recitals with various collaborators, has subbed in many NJ/NYC churches almost weekly, and participated in their concerts as well. In the summer of 2024 Jelena worked as an accompanist for NJPAC in Newark, She is a very active accompanist/chamber musician, performer and teacher in the NYC/NJ area.

Carlos Mena bass

Carlos Mena comes from a family of professional musicians and continues to honor his family tradition to this day. He began playing music professionally as a percussionist when he was seven years old with acclaimed folk musicians from South America.

He soon discovered his passion for the bass and made it his primary instrument upon which to hone his musicianship and technique. As a teenager, he received a scholarship to study in Switzerland at the Zurich University of the Arts, where he earned his Bachelor of Arts in Music and Pedagogy. He continued his studies in New York City, where he received his Master of Arts in Music at the Aaron Copland School of Music at Queens College.

Carlos is a multi-instrumentalist who plays electric bass, acoustic bass, guitar, piano, and small percussion. He is an accomplished soloist, arranger, music director, and composer and has become a highly sought-after performer, playing alongside many renowned musicians in NYC and abroad.


Facundo Colman bongos and bell

Facundo Colmán was born on February 27 in Montevideo Uruguay. He is a percussionist with a notable career that began professionally at the age of 11 in Uruguay. He is one of the most esteemed percussionists on the New York music scene today. Facundo is an experienced percussionist in many styles, world music, Latin jazz, pop and other genres, especially the Uruguayan folk music “Candombe”. Currently in New York, he has shared the stage with legends of salsa and Latin Jazz groups such as José Alberto "El Canario", Tony Succar, Arturo O'Farrill and the Afro Latin Jazz Orchestra, Pedro Arroyo, Ray Sepúlveda, Roberto Blades, David Pavon, Fruko and his treasures, Viti Ruiz, Hildemaro, Maelo Ruiz, Tony Vega, Frankie Negron, Hildemaro, Adolescents, Adalberto Santiago, Roberto Lugo, Josimar and his Yambú, Willie González, Papo Rosario, Luisito Carrión, Mayito Rivera, Christian Alicea , Jhonny Rivera, Miles Peña, Anthony Colón and Los Hacheros. Facundo is the teacher of the Afro-Uruguayan percussion workshop "Candombe del Futuro" for children.


Carlitos Padrón

An experienced percussionist who has been residing in New York City for 22 years. He showcased his percussion skills from a young age, inspired by two family members who were well-known figures in the Venezuelan music industry.

In the year 2000, Padrón decided to settle in New York City to begin his journey as a percussionist, taking his first steps alongside the renowned pianist Eddy Martínez at Tito Puente's restaurant in New York. That same year, he continued his musical studies with percussion master Johnny Almendra at Boys Harbor Music School.

Between 2007 and 2008, Carlitos Padrón became part of the music staff for the Off-Broadway show Celia Cruz – The Musical. In 2016, he had the opportunity to participate in the Broadway show On Your Feet as the lead percussion substitute.

At the end of 2008, Carlitos began to conquer the world of music production with the release of his own album, Los Rumberos del Callejón, a group that features some of the greatest musicians in the world. This ensemble has already produced and recorded three albums: De la Nada, Construyendo, and the most recent 10mo Aniversario, celebrating their 10th anniversary. These albums received excellent reviews from the public and media related to Latin music.

He has participated in numerous recording sessions with important artists and producers, including Steven Van Zandt, Isidro Infante, Banco Popular de Puerto Rico (Latin Grammy Nominee 2010), Orquesta Akokán (Grammy Nominee 2018), Vicentico of Los Fabulosos Cadillacs, and Lin-Manuel Miranda's Almost Like Praying alongside Marc Anthony, Jennifer Lopez, Juan Luis Guerra, Sergio George, and many more. Carlitos has also collaborated with global superstar Rauw Alejandro and Hollywood Star Bill Murray, showcasing his versatility and cross-genre appeal.

Since, Kalí has led his own bands in top venues and festivals in North America, and has also shared the stage with distinguished musicians such as Wynton Marsalis, Arturo O’Farrill, Paquito D’Rivera, Chucho Valdés, Michel Camilo, Esperanza Spalding, Miguel Zenón, Anat Cohen, Jeff “Tain” Watts, David Murray, Cándido Camero, Ricky Martin, Luis Fonsi, Olga Tañón, among others.

Kalí has been awarded Harlem Stage’s WaterWorks Emerging Artist cohort (2023), New Music USA’s Creator Development Fund (2021), and the Louis Armstrong Educational Foundation, Inc. Scholarship (2017). He was a finalist at the National Trumpet Competition (2016). His album Mélange (2022) was released under the Truth Revolution Records label, and its music is featured on the TV show “Let The Right One In” by the television network Showtime.He also performed as a guest performer on the CD "Familia" by Grammy-winning artists Arturo O'Farrill and Chucho Valdés, Michel Camilo's latest release "Essence," and Pedrito Martínez’s “Acertijos.” He has also been a guest lecturer at the University of California, Riverside, and the National Jazz Museum in Harlem.
