Open to all runners! Meet at the Pima Canyon TH for an 5-ish mile group run! TH has bathroom and waters. Please carry adequate hydration for the temperatures!
The run will start promptly at 6am! Please arrive a few minutes early for a group picture and route instructions.
This is a no drop run.* The group will meet up at 2-3 critical junctures along the run. There will also be a designated sweeper bringing up the rear of the run (ensuring no one is left behind).
*Please note: this is intended to be a run - not a hike! The group cannot wait for hikers, and sweepers will not walk with hikers.
To be in compliance with the new Phoenix heat/trailhead closure ordinance, runners should expect to be off South Mountain/out of the parking lot by 7:30am.
Route: up the jeep road, up/down Javelina Canyon, over Beverly Canyon, and then back on the jeep road to the TH.
