Planning for an out and back on Desert Classic! 🎢 Desert Classic (”DC” for short) used to be categorized as a “green”, but has since been changed to a “blue” rating. This is a no drop ride, all bodies and all bikes welcome! You can expect some rocky/un-groomed terrain, mild-moderate slopes and washes, and a moderate pace.
👍🏻 There is room to get off and walk your bike, and we will have time to session things if desired, but general ability to ride over rocks and basic understanding of bike handling, balance, and pedal technique is recommended. 😉
Mark your calendar 🗓️ and plan on arriving EARLY, because that parking lot (and pretty much all places to park at somo) fills up FAST on weekends! Plan is to start the ride by 9am and spend about 2h on the trail.
