The Waukegan Park District is hosting the Something Waukegan This Way Comes Walking Tour on Friday, August 22, 2025 from 6pm to 8pm at the Waukegan History Museum at the Carnegie, located at 1 N. Sheridan Road. Celebrate Waukegan-born author Ray Bradbury's birthday! Visit the sites of Bradbury's Green Town (Waukegan) from his novels "Dandelion Wine,", "Farewell Summer, and "Something Wicked This Way Comes." The tour covers 1.5 miles and includes uneven ground and stairs.
Payment and registration is required. The fee is $10 for residents and $15 for non-residents.
