About this Event
"Surround yourself only with people who are going to take you higher” - Oprah Winfrey
As busy women juggling it all, we know that networking is super important and enriching… and we’re also all super busy.
That’s why Wall Street Journal best-selling author and women’s leadership coach, Randi Braun, is hosting her Something Major Power Lunch: an intimate women’s leadership networking lunch in Washington, DC.
You’re invited to join us on Friday, October 17th at 12:30pm at Rasika West End: for our fall Something Major Power Lunch sponsored by the World Trade Center Institute.
Previous Power Lunches have received rave reviews and have sold out quickly, which is why we're excited to do it again! Space is limited and registration is first-come-first-served. You can learn more about the Something Major Power Lunch or sign up below.
** Given the mass layoffs in Washington, DC we’ve introduced a new option for this Power Lunch: We are holding a limited number of tickets for women in career transition due to a layoff. When you register for your own ticket, you’ll also have the opportunity to help sponsor a seat for a woman who’s been impacted. If you would like to be entered into the lottery for one of those sponsored tickets, please fill out this form.
"Thank you so much, Randi, for hosting such a wonderful event. I’ve been to so many networking events that can be intimidating or are not actually productive in building meaningful connections. But this one was so different. I felt so comfortable—and am very happy that I have three lunches scheduled with women from the event. I look forward to continuing to reach out to other women as well, thanks again!"

About the Event:
- What’s included: Mix and mingle before we sit down for a leisurely, multi-course meal at Rasika West End where attendees can network and connect in a low-stress (high-fun) environment.
- What makes the Something Major Power Lunch different: WSJ best-selling author Randi Braun created the Something Major Power Lunch because she hated most of the networking events she was attending: packed ballrooms where the conversation was hit-or-miss, terrible food, and wasted time. That's why Something Major Power Lunch is intimate (capped at 30-35 women max), structured with a program that gets women connecting, and always at the best restaurants around town.
- Audience: This lunch is designed for experienced, career-focused professional women -- whether you're a leader in your organization, an entrepreneur, a woman in career transition, or a community mover-and-shaker -- looking to make authentic connections with other women.
- Theme: Embracing Seasons of Change: in honor of fall, we’ll discuss how to embrace seasons of change in both our work and life.
- Attire: Business casual (jeans permitted).
- Have questions? Email [email protected] to get in touch. If you have dietary restrictions, please contact us using the address above after registering so we can alert the restaurant.
