Somerville's Union Square Asian Market Tour

Join us for a fun, family friendly stroll through Union Square to explore two Asian markets: Little India and Reliable Market!
About this Event

Led by the Somerville High's Dear Asian Youth Club, join us for a fun, in-person walking/strolling tour of two local AAPI businesses: Reliable Market and Little India! Learn about the owners' stories and sample Asian tea and snacks. There will be an Asian market scavenger hunt for kids with a chance to win a raffle AAPI gift basket! Meet at the Somerville Growing Center to naturally dye and decorate your own grocery tote bag. This event is for all ages!

Tour attendees and Growing Center visitors will receive a complimentary grocery tote bag which will include an AAPI community recipe book.

This event will run, rain or shine!

Please meet up at the Somerville Growing Center at 1:00pm.

1:00pm: Tote bag dyeing and decorating. Tea and snacks will be provided!

1:30pm: Tour starts to the first market

3pm: Tour ends at the last market
