The Somers Point PD & Somers Point PAL (along with We Walk Somers Point), will be hosting our 2nd Annual Scarecrow Walk, Sunday, November 9th from 9:00 AM - 11:30 AM, starting at the bike path at City Hall (1 W. New Jersey Avenue Somers Point, NJ 08244). Walkers are encouraged to come and vote during the event for their favorite scarecrow. The winner with the most votes, will receive 4 Tickets to Storybook Land. This is a free community policing event.To enter the contest & host a scarecrow:
Registration is required and due by 11/6/2025. No day of entries will be accepted. Register to Kate MacKenzie at [email protected] or use the link below.
Your scarecrow will be assigned a designated spot along the bike path.
Set up can be done and displayed, Thursday, November 6th through Sunday, November 9th. However if setting up Sunday, set up must be done between 8:00 AM - 8:30 AM prior to the beginning of the event.
ALL scarecrows must be removed by 1:00 PM 11/9/2025.
