It started taking shape in late 2019, when Brad decided to pick up the sticks of an unwanted drum kit which was bought for his sons. Friend and guitarist Ralf soon joined Brad in jamming sessions in his dusty barn. It was there, after a few beers, that forming a band would be the perfect antidote to their upcoming mid-life crisis.
The hunt was soon on for fellow members. Singer Martin was scouted while getting noticed singing too loudly at the village Christmas lights switch on (that’s Rock’n’Roll). Dave was known to the others as an excellent drummer and sound engineer. Unfortunately the drummer position had been filled, so he decided to play the bass.
As neighbours in a small village in Cumbria, THEM NOISY NEIGHBOURS were born. Initially happy just playing covers at local gigs, the Neighbours soon progressed to writing and performing their own material. Their distinct sound of fast temp punk and rock takes a nod at the past while firmly being fixed in the present
