RedHanded Siren are a 5-piece coverband with an infectious, high-paced energy, bold enough to get anyone up; dancing, head banging and singing along to upbeat rock/indie/pop/punk classics. These guys don't stick to 1 genre... they try and incorporate as many nostalgia-enticing tunes as possible including songs from:Paramore, Blondie, AC/DC, ABBA, Pearl Jam, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, The Darkness, Greenday, The Who, No Doubt and many many more! ... There aren’t many bands who can say they range the whole way from ABBA to Rage against the machine… but trust me, they make it happen!
+ Life Plan
Life Plan formed in 2020 with Chris (drums) and John (vocals and guitar) meeting through a mutual desire to form a new band with original music in Dumfries. The pair were soon sharing a rehearsal space with some other local bands before being joined by Brooke on bass shortly afterwards, completing the line-up.
With gigging put on hold throughout the country due to lockdown restrictions, the trio spent their first two years jamming, finding their sound, writing songs and just enjoying the process.
They played their first show at The Coach & Horses in Dumfries during May 2022. With lots more gigs over the next couple of years throughout Scotland and across the north of England, Life Plan made up for lost time in playing their particular brand of catharsis to as many people as possible.
Sonically, sitting somewhere in-between grunge, post-hardcore and even metal influences brought them a unique sound that has attracted new fans with each show.
During 2024 they released their first EP and having loved the whole process of recording, they found themselves booking straight back into the studio and recorded a further five songs. Currently finalising these songs and preparing the next lot of songs for recording, Life Plan are intending to bring these out in the way that they love to listen to music themselves the most, as a full album.
