Mind and body therapy...With benefits to both body and mind, this practice gets you feeling better in your body, moving better, freeing up tension and restrictions while improving core & pelvic floor function, mobility, joint function, breath, balance, posture, calm, focus, sleep, wellbeing and more.
The real magic is in the way it makes you feel, as your nervous system calms and regulates & you unwind the stress-based tension that causes a lot of unwanted symptoms in both mind and body. This is why a mind-body class is, in my opinion, an essential for us all in this modern world. It leads to improved physical and mental performance too - while this may be the icing on the cake it may also be what you need to remind yourself of to ensure this gets prioritised as well as the more obvious things or the things that feel like work. Sometimes we forget that things don't always have to be hard to be beneficial and the ability to slow down and give yourself real, deep self-care is crucial for optimal health and wellbeing.
I've set up a new option for new starters - a 3 class pass for the price of 2. Sometimes one session isn't enough to really 'get' this practice and the sessions do vary, so coming to try it for 3 consecutive sessions is recommended.
Classes are Tuesdays 9.45 - 10.50am at Stanpit Guide Hall & Tuesdays 7.15pm at Christchurch Rowing Club, moving to The Retreat New Forest 29th October
