Somatic Reset Breathwork
A full embodiment experience using circular diaphragmatic breath to help release stress, trauma, and stored emotion from the body. Paired with immersive music, the breath may trigger cathartic release — laughing, crying, shaking, movement — all of which is welcomed. The second half uses a gentler breath to help you reconnect with your true self and set intentions for how you want to show up in your life.
Session length: 60 minutes
• 15 min intake & overview
• 30 min breathwork session
• 15 min integration & sharing
• Plus a 15-min follow-up, 3–5 days later
How to prepare:
You may bring your yoga mat ( or we can provide one) and a blanket — you’ll be lying down with room to move freely. Skip pillows/bolsters unless needed for pain or injury. Wear comfortable clothing (think yoga attire) with no restrictive layers or jewelry. Bring lip balm, water, and a journal. Avoid heavy meals 1–2 hours before. Additional details covered at intake.
Contraindications:
Not a substitute for psychotherapy. Not appropriate for: pregnancy, cardiovascular conditions (including angina/heart attack, high blood pressure), glaucoma, retinal detachment, osteoporosis, history of seizures or stroke, major psychiatric conditions, recent surgery, acute infectious illness, or epilepsy. Consult your physician if unsure. Those with asthma should bring their inhaler and consult their physician.
