About this Event

Workshop description

Somatic Meditation & Co-Regulation is a practical, supportive meditation based workshop exploring how we can become more present in our own bodies while also feeling more connected with others.

Through gentle grounding practices, somatic meditation, individual reflection, partnered exercises, and group connection work, this workshop will help you slow down, notice your inner experience, and reconnect with the senses in a calm and respectful environment.

Rather than treating meditation as something you only do alone or in a conventional 'sit quietly for an hour' setting, this engaging workshop explores how presence can also emerge through safe, attuned connection. You will be guided through simple practices that support body awareness, steadier attention, emotional regulation, and a deeper sense of connection with yourself and the people around you.

The workshop may include:

  • gentle grounding and breath awareness
  • somatic witnessing and body-based awareness
  • individual meditation and reflection
  • paired connection exercises
  • group sharing and integration
  • sensory awareness practices
  • simple co-regulation exercises
  • practices for calm, steadiness, and presence

The emphasis is gentle, practical, and non-clinical. You will not be pressured to share anything personal, and all partnered exercises will be guided with clear boundaries, consent, and choice.

This workshop may be suitable if you are wanting to:

  • feel more grounded and present
