About the Facilitators:

Phoebecates Perez:
A heart-centered practitioner certified in Rapid Transformational Therapy and Somatic Breathwork, with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Sound Healing, and Trauma-informed background.

Somatic breathwork is conscious breathing that is meant to help you reach your unconscious mind and release emotions, stress, tensions, and trauma that have been stored in your body.

It takes you out of your thinking mind and drops you into your body.

By regulating your breath, you can regulate your nervous system and influence your emotional and mental states.

This promotes overall well-being, self-awareness, and physical, emotional, and spiritual healing.

Contraindications

Somatic Release Breathwork is intended as a personal growth experience and should not be looked upon as a substitute for psychotherapy. It is not appropriate for pregnant women, persons with cardiovascular problems, including angina or heart attack, high blood pressure, glaucoma, retinal detachment, osteoporosis, history of seizures, stroke, major psychiatric conditions, recent surgery, acute infectious illness, or epilepsy. If you have any doubt about whether you should participate, please consult with your primary care physician. Persons with asthma should bring their inhalers and consult with their primary care physician.
