Greetings to the wondrous Populace of Atenveldt. Their Excellencies of the Barony of SunDragon and Barony of Atenveldt invite you all to join us at our combined solstice celebration, Solstice on the Isle of Berk, on Saturday, December 20th, 2025. We will gather by the warmth of our fire, friendship and family. Gifts will be exchanged, Desserts and Table decorations will be judged, our bards will tell their tales and our Dragon Trainers (youth) will compete to see who can collect the most dragons. All are invited bring an offering of food to help provide for our populace feast this solstice.

Our solstice feast will be in the form of a potluck. While Their Excellencies from both baronies will provide the main dishes, the rest of the populace are invited to bring side dishes to share with others. Bring your feast gear, a dish or two to share and an ingredient list for your dishes. For those with allergies, sideboard feasters are always welcome.

Bards! You are welcome and encouraged to compete and share your talents with us while the populace enjoys the feast.

For those wishing to compete, we will be having a table decoration competition. Bring your best table cloths, center pieces and feast gear to impress the judges. Viking themes are encouraged but not necessary.

We will be having both a dessert competition and a cookie decorating contest. Both will be judged by Their Excellencies. Cookies, cakes, pastries, or pies are all welcome. A list of ingredients must be provided along with your dessert. For the decoration contest, cookies and decorating supplies will be provided.

There will be several different gift exchanges. The first will be a white elephant exchange, one for adults ($20 max) and one for youth ($10 max). Viking themed gifts are encouraged but not required. Our second gift exchange will be an artisans gift exchange. In the style of secret Santa, those who wish to join will be assigned someone to make a gift for and they will be assigned to someone.

Our Dragon Trainers will be tasked with finding as many dragons as they can throughout the event.

Please note Gate will only accept CASH at the event. Pre-pay will be available through PayPal.

Non-Members: $20
Ages 17 and under are free
