Solstice Fire
About this Event
The Summer Solstice is a threshold—a moment when the sun stands at its peak, illuminating the world in its fullest expression of light.
For our ancestors, this was a time of celebration, gathering, and tending the sacred fires that connected community, spirit, and the rhythms of the Earth.
This month, we gather around our own Solstice Fire.
Through the elemental journey of earth, water, fire, air, and ether, we will explore the flames that live within us—the spark of creativity, the heat of transformation, the courage to shine, and the warmth that connects us to one another.
What is asking to be illuminated? What is ready to burn away? What part of you longs to glow more brightly in the season ahead?
Together, we will move, sweat, breathe, and celebrate the fullness of summer. We will dance with the fire in our bellies, the sun in our hearts, and the wild aliveness that pulses through all living things.
Dancing Freedom is a guided movement meditation and a somatic, ecstatic, and shamanic dance practice that welcomes people of all ages, abilities, identities, and experience levels.
Please note: For the summer months we will be returning to the Common Room and Sunday Afternoon, where we'll have the comfort of air conditioning as we dance.
Come as you are. Leave glowing.
