Celebrate the solstice with us. Join us this winter solstice to celebrate the passing of a year and the gradual return of the light, as the wheel of the year turns.
21st December
We will meet at 5pm at Chaldon Church car park, CR3 5AL, we will be in the woods by 6pm and leave the woods by 7.30.
Feel free to come for as much or as little as you wish.
Please rsvp and let us know if you expect to meet us at the woods or the church, so we have an idea of numbers. If the weather is blowing a gale we may have to change the plan or cancel.
We will offer mulled apple juice and a warm fire. If you would like to create a simple willow star or heart around the fire we will provide instructions and the willow. We will have a sharing table for sweet things.
This event is open to all of you whether or not you have been on a course with us yet, want to bring friends or family or enjoy some me time. All are welcome.
Accompanied children over 10 are more than welcome.
There is no charge for this event. I just wanted to celebrate the year with you and give something back. Without you all Pippin & Gile wouldn’t exist.
What to bring:
A mug for the mulled apple
A smile
Clothes suitable for the weather.
A torch
A lantern - optional
And something sweet to share - optional
