Solo Travel for Broke Folks
About this Event
Renata is a seasoned solo traveler who has spent 15+ years exploring the world on a budget. From city hostel hopping to volunteering on rural farms, she has developed a practical approach to making solo travel both accessible and meaningful. She will speak on her adventures and the occasional misadventures, and bring a down‑to‑earth, honest perspective that resonates with first‑time and experienced travellers alike. While her expertise is mainly rooted in Europe and the Mediterranean, the strategies and tools she shares can be applied to solo travel in destinations around the world. She aims to empower folks to travel confidently, safely, and without overspending.
