Solo Spirits

Living life solo has its freedoms, but wouldn't it be nice to meet more women who understand the experience?

Solo Spirits is a relaxed, slightly witchy afternoon for independent women 45+ who enjoy creativity, good conversation, a little seasonal magic and the possibility of making new friends.

Whether you're single, divorced, widowed, childfree or simply navigating life on your own, this gathering is about meeting women who share your independent spirit.

No awkward networking, no pressure to be outgoing and definitely no need to bring a friend. In fact, coming solo is the whole idea!

• Create your own framed oracle card using images, words and decorative treasures. No artistic experience necessary! Bring along a favourite craft project if you'd rather work on something of your own.
• Dust off that hat you never wear or your grandmas jewellry. Costumes and creative touches are encouraged but entirely optional.
• Strike a pose! Whether you're feeling witchy, whimsical or wonderfully yourself, step in front of the camera for a fun solo portrait. Your digital keepsake will be sent to you after the event.
• Take part in our Craft Exchange! Bring along unused craft supplies, materials or creative treasures you no longer need and exchange them for something new-to-you. A fun way to share inspiration, discover materials and give forgotten supplies a second life.
• Share leftover craft materials from our creative table to take home and enjoy.
• Curated Thrift Table – Browse a thoughtfully selected collection of secondhand treasures, unique finds and unexpected gems. A little treasure hunting and sustainable shopping to add to the afternoon's fun.
• Full Moon Release Ritual – Let go of what no longer serves you and make room for something new. Through a simple, symbolic ritual, we'll set intentions, release old energies and welcome fresh possibilities.

Maybe you'll meet someone who shares your love of books, travel, astrology, art, gardening or simply doing things a little differently.

Maybe you'll find a new coffee companion, someone to explore Victoria with or a friendship you didn't know you were missing.

Or maybe you'll simply enjoy three hours doing something fun for yourself.

There isn't a right way to enjoy the afternoon. Come as you are, bring your curiosity and see who you meet.

Costumes are Encouraged

Costumes are encouraged! Bring out your velvet, lace, favourite hat or something wonderfully unexpected. Have fun dressing up for your portrait - or come in everyday clothes. You’re welcome either way.

What to bring

Comfortable walking shoes and a warm, weather-appropriate layer for our walk to the water. Any meaningful little pieces you’d like to incorporate into your card, and optional craft treasures to share.
