Solo Connects - Singles Event in Berkhamsted

Welcome to Solo Connects

If you hate dating apps and want to meet people IN REAL LIFE down the pub, then you're in the right place.

Our events are pretty simple.

Our team will welcome you to a lovely venue.

You'll grab a drink at the bar and start chatting to people.

We do run ice-breaker games which are designed to get you moving around the room so that you can meet everyone and chat in small groups. The games take about 40 minutes and are the only structured part of the night - after the ice-breaker games you're free to chat and mingle and we'd encourage you to use a Flirt Card to drop your phone number to anyone who catches your eye.

Who is it for?

Anyone who is genuinely single and looking for either friendship or dating (or both). We have age guidance on our tickets so that people can meet people of a similar age to them.

How do the events work?

7.30pm - Arrive and drinks at the bar

8.15pm - Welcome from Host and introduction to the ice-breaker game

Move around the room and chat to other singles in small groups. We aim to run this three times so you can chat to as many people as you can. Depending on the numbers, you'll be chatting in groups of 6-8 people.

9.00pm - Continue chatting and mingling and get those Flirt Cards filled out for anyone who catches your eye. Your Host will be armed with Flirt Cards and pens - you've gotta shoot your shot when someone catches your eye!

What is included?

Entry into our singles event to meet local single people. No drinks are included in this ticket. All of the ticket money goes towards building the Solo Connects UK community.

We are in a venue that's specifically for our group, but it is a public space. Please take care with your drinks and don't leave them unattended.

Venue Info.

From the car park (there is ample parking at the venue), head down the stairs and into the main entrance. The Solo Connects team will be there to meet you - we will be just to the right hand side of the main entrance.
There is a ramp from the car park, but use the door by the restaurant entrance if you are a wheelchair user.
