Join us for an evening of solidarity, community, drinks, and light appetizers at the 2026 Ignatian Family Teach-In for Justice

The evening will feature a Q&A with Fr. James Martin, S.J., author of Work in Progress and editor-at-large at America Magazine, hosted by Allie Holmquist, campus minister for international immersions at Loyola Marymount University, and Michael Libunao Macalintal, director of mission and ministry at the University of Mount Saint Vincent.

A Work in Progress: Becoming People of Faith Who Do Justice
We are all works in progress. In this special conversation, Fr. James Martin, S.J., will reflect on the experiences, relationships, and moments of grace that shaped his own journey of faith, drawing from his new memoir, Work in Progress. Emceed by two young adult leader swhose own faith formation has been influenced by Ignatian Solidarity Network programming, the conversation will explore how God continues to form each of us—not only through prayer and study, but through friendship, service, accompaniment, failure, and the pursuit of justice—inviting us to become ever more faithful disciples in a world longing for hope.
