Join Nell for a singing workshop for adult survivors of CSA & allies to come together to sing, connect, and be part of something powerful.
About this Event

Come and find out more about UpFront Survivors Gloucester and take part in a singing session for adult survivors of child sexual abuse (CSA) and allies. We’ll come together in a gentle, supportive space — to sing, connect, and be part of something powerful.

Together, we’ll learn simple, uplifting protest and community songs that speak to strength, solidarity, and collective care. Every song will be easy to learn, with simple harmonies and a ‘no fail’ approach. You don’t need any singing experience to take part.

This is not a choir or a performance group. There’s no pressure to sound a certain way or to be anything other than yourself. It’s about using our voices — just as they are — to explore what it feels like to take up space, to belong, and to build something together.

What to expect

  • A welcoming, survivor-centred space with support and care at its core
  • Songs chosen for their emotional resonance, ease, and ability to bring people together
  • A focus on connection, not perfection — no musical experience required
  • Led by an experienced facilitator who understand the needs of CSA survivors

Whether you're feeling ready to sing out loud, or just want to sit in the room and listen at first — you are welcome. This is about finding strength in togetherness, and discovering what our voices can hold, carry, and release.

Who is it for?

All of our workshops are open to CSA survivors, friends and allies, aged 18+
