Sole Street, Cobham and Jenkyns Country Park Walk
🌿 Spend a late summer morning exploring the peaceful countryside of the Gravesham district on this guided circular walk from Sole Street. Starting from Sole Street Station on Saturday 29th August 2026, this 8.5-mile route takes in a varied landscape of open fields, woodland trails, quiet villages, and parkland paths.
Leaving the station behind, the walk heads out into the surrounding countryside, passing through wide open farmland before entering Jeskyns Community Woodland, an important green space known for its broad trails and developing natural habitats. From there, the route continues through the historic village of Cobham and onwards towards Lower Luddesdown, where the landscape becomes quieter and more rural.
As the walk progresses, we make our way through the scenic surroundings of Camer Park before gradually looping back towards Sole Street. With a steady pace and a relaxed atmosphere, this walk is ideal for those looking to enjoy a rewarding day in the Kent countryside.
