$20 members/$25 non-membersFlowers are the epitome of beauty in HMong aesthetics, symbolizing connections to nature, the land, and reflections of the past. In HMong culture, flowers are celebrated through terms like “paj ntaub” (flower cloth) and “paj lus” (flowery language) to express art and poetry.
Explore the world of botanical printing with artist and curator Pachia Lucy Vang. We will draw inspiration from the significance of flowers in HMong culture and the floral imagery on view in Pao Houa Her: The Imaginative Landscape and create botanically scarves using locally sourced flower petals.
Registration capped at 12 participants.
