As always we are excited to have Brandon return to Bozzini’s and doubly excited to have Jack Garton joining us that evening for the first time. He’s a guitar slinging, accordion squeezing, and trumpet blowing whirlwind who also happens to be a great songwriter.

This Yukon born songster performs a mixture of thoughtful, humorous, spiritual and catchy memorable songs; always delivered with world class guitar, harmonica and vocals. Lyrics are paramount and it’s obvious when you see his accolades and hear his music. After 35 years in the business, this international touring artist is always asked back as he’s a total pro off and on the stage. Brandon Isaak is a one of a kind world class roots and blues showman ! He engages with an audience, getting them involved and part of the show. New fans are made at every show as they leave the venue still singing catchy lines and humming new melodies. Brandon is a multi-instrumentalist who writes heartfelt, uplifting, funny and spiritual songs. This Yukon born artist takes his audiences on an emotional journey through the varieties of his original songs. He has honed his craft over the past 37 years and it shows every night. His gravelly singing voice always astounds people that wonder how that big voice comes out of his smaller frame! He has played in three continents and 8 country’s, as well as 13 European tours.
Brandon has been nominated for many awards including Maple Blues for song writing of the year, blues act of the year, producer of the year, guitar player of the year, album of the year . He also 2 Juno nominations under his belt.
Brandon’s affinity for the rawness and spontaneity of the blues is second to none, as anyone who has had the privilege of being a part of his audience will tell you. He brings a firebrand style of guitar as well as incredibly stirring vocals that truly has to be witnessed to be appreciated! He is VERY much in the moment as he rips it up, and we know you’ll be impressed with the caliber of showmanship within his performance of songs & stories by this great Canadian artist.

Jack Garton
Enchanting audiences in British Columbia for many years as a musician and theater artist, Jack Garton’s show is a rocking, sultry and fresh blend of folk and roots, steeped heavily in the rockabilly and doo-wop that were his first musical loves. Jack has performed solo and with many beloved bands and theatre companies throughout North America and Europe, featuring the Firehall Arts Centre’s production of Chelsea Hotel: The Songs Of Leonard Cohen (Feb 2024). Fresh from recording a new original full-length album with Vancouver surf legends Kitty and the Rooster, to be released December 2023, Jack is excited to be bringing this strong, honest and vulnerable collection of songs to audiences everywhere.
A frequent collaborator over 16 years, Jack has toured and recorded with many Western Canadian roots bands, including Petunia and the Vipers, Blue Moon Marquee, Maria In The Shower, and The Burying Ground, playing his unique combination of trumpet and accordion. Since 2013, he has also been busy as a solo artist, releasing two critically-acclaimed albums (Move The Mess Around, 2016 and Love You Over Time, 2018) and playing up to 90 shows a year at festivals, theatres, clubs and cookouts with his own backing band.
Having learned the craft of songwriting in long-term mentorships with folk legends Dan Bern and Geoff Berner, Garton is forging his own songwriting style that has delighted fans and critics alike. Described as “infectious songs that each stand alone as riveting short stories set to music” (BC Musician) and “the perfect soundtrack for a generation just trying to walk in a straight line” (Maddy Cristall, Citrus Magazine), his third commercial release, Original Skin, is sure to bring even more listeners to Jack’s world of catchy, funny and poetic roots songs.
