This immersive dinner celebrates the exhibition "India's Great Mughals: Art, Power, and Opulence."
The evening draws inspiration from one of history’s most opulent eras—the golden age of the Mughal Empire, where art, culture, and cuisine flourished under the patronage of visionary emperors. Guests will enjoy a multi‑course menu crafted to echo the richness and refinement of Mughal culinary traditions.
Dr. John Henry Rice, VMFA's E. Rhodes and Leona B. Carpenter Curator of South Asian and Islamic Art, will share insights about the works of art on view in the exhibition. Together, the art, food, and wine create a transportive experience that celebrates the creativity and cultural fusion that defined the Mughal world.
