Solar Strength & Vitality: A One Day Sun Themed Yoga Workshop
Sunday, May 17th
10am-4pm
This energizing one day workshop explores how to design and lead sun themed yoga sessions that build strength, clarity, and confidence. Inspired by solar qualities such as warmth, radiance, courage, and forward movement, this training focuses on uplifting, activating, and empowering practices.
Participants will experience and learn how to create dynamic, sun inspired classes that blend yoga, strength work, breath, rhythm, and intention. You will leave with practical tools for building sessions that help students feel more awake, capable, and fully expressed.
We will explore:
• Sun based themes and symbolism and how to structure solar inspired classes and workshops
• Yoga with weights and resistance bands to build functional strength and stability
• Core focused practices connected to the “inner sun,” personal power, and energetic center
• Invigorating breathwork practices to increase energy and mental clarity
• How to build motivating playlists that support heat, rhythm, and momentum
• Teaching language that encourages confidence, agency, and resilience
• Solar imagery, intention setting, and peak pose or peak effort arcs
• Introduction to solar archetype mythology such as the warrior/ leader and how to weave these stories into your sessions
• Balancing activation with skillful integration and recovery
Participants will explore frameworks for designing their own sun themed sessions.
