Become both scientist and artist in this creative outdoor workshop. Together, we’ll discover how to harness the power of the sun to create brilliant blue nature sun prints. We’ll explore and collect interesting leaves, flowers and twigs then arrange them on special sun-sensitive paper. After that, we’ll let ultraviolet light do the rest! As our prints develop, we’ll uncover the science behind light, energy, shadows and how plants use the sun to grow. This hands-on program blends art, exploration and a little bit of chemistry for a bright and memorable adventure!
Fee: Free!
Age: Ages 6-12. Participants younger than 18 must be accompanied by a registered adult.
