Sol/Lux presents its debut concert, a journey through choral music conducted by Stefenie Rachel Wong, that explores the depth and breadth of the human experience. From the innocence of childhood memory to the weight of grief, from moments of refuge and surrender to the awakening of renewal, each piece reflects a different facet of what it means to be human.
The programme moves fluidly between introspection and expression; inviting the audience to pause, reflect, and feel. Moments of sorrow are met with spaces of comfort and reverie, while surrender opens the door to transformation and growth. Renewal rises in both quiet illumination and joyful praise, leading us toward a deeper understanding of connection.
At its heart, this journey is held together by love — selfless, steadfast, and enduring. It is through love that we find meaning in memory, strength in vulnerability, and light beyond darkness.
