In Jeffersonville, Indiana there are about 18 miles of bikeway - partly the Ohio River Bikeway, partly the Discovery Trail, and partly the Big Four Bridge. The bikeway diversity of Jeffersonville is short and sweet. The 17-mile Jeffersonville loop is 83% bikeway. The 20-mile Lewis and Clark Bridge loop is 47% bikeway. This tour in Jeffersonville is a great quiet place to launch into many of Louisville's attractions just across the Big Four Bridge. The routes follow the lay-of-the-land along the Ohio River, which is relatively level. Sweating is optional, but probably unavoidable - the Ohio River valley sets the humidity level in this region.
