SOJC Alumni Happy Hour in DC

Join us for a fun-filled evening at The National Press Club for our UO Alumni Happy Hour in DC! Come visit with the current UO students and faculty who will be in Washington thanks to an exciting new course we offer at the School of Journalism and Communication – storytelling around hostage diplomacy. These students will be in the city to meet with and interview government leaders, NGO officials, and family members of Americans held hostage or wrongly detained overseas.

We hope you can join us for a reception full of stories, networking, and a brief informal presentation from students describing what they have learned in this one-of-a-kind course.
