SoIN Soundcheckis bringing even more live music and downtown energy to Jammin’ in Jeff nights this summer in Jeffersonville.
Hosted by SoIN Tourism at the Southern Indiana Visitor Center in downtown Jeffersonville, SoIN Soundcheck will feature free live performances from 5 to 7 p.m. during the Jammin’ in Jeff Night Market hours, giving visitors and locals another reason to arrive early and enjoy downtown before the main RiverStage concerts begin at 7 p.m.
Each event night will showcase a music act in a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere just steps away from the Night Market and RiverStage festivities. Guests can browse local vendors, grab dinner at nearby restaurants and enjoy a pre-batched cocktail bar from The Alcove while taking in live music at the Visitor Center.
Ray Keys is a Louisville-based jazz and Pop R&B artist who was artistically mobilized in 2020 amid growing civic unrest and racial tensions surrounding the Black Lives Matter Movement. Equity, community, self-expression, and love are core tenets of Ray’s music. Ray expresses these sentiments of love and community through his solo, bluesy piano playing and sultry singing with his electrifying group, Ray Keys & the Elementals, who recently performed at the Surfside Summer Jams at the Depot on July 30th.
