Participants are invited to bring soil samples in clear plastic bags to be screened in realtime at Veterans Park. Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) technicians will use an X-ray fluorescence instrument to provide data regarding lead content in soil.
Collect soil samples in advanced and bring them in any time between noon and 4pm to have them screened for free. Follow our social media for instructions on soil sample collection.
